everytime I scrape up enough bones, they wind up out of stock. they go quick due to people bricking thier PSPs

there a Bi@#h to install but i find the new 2.71 custom firmware doe wha6t a mod chip does so unless you have a brick just use the custom firmware

actually the new firmware is missing one crucial thing the mod chip has... the fact that it is a second CPU, and no it is not a btich to install. you just have to have soldering experience prior to going into this project. You know I would normally rant here, but I think I will just say this, Rizza don't generalize, if you don't like the mod chip fine, but don't lie about it just because you have no experience with it.

I have the ModChip installed. i got mine when they came out in june. It works pretty good. there are very few isos i can't play and i don't need any special programs to play them. just put them in an iso folder in the root and thats it. buuut the custom firware for the modchip is getting outdated. i am having problem splaying myst euro and a startrek game because it requires 2.81 but it could just be that i am inexperienced with iso's and software in general. thats why i got the chip. so i don't need anything to play them. but i have changed my PSP's flash from 2.71 to 2.81 to 1.5 to 2.0 to 2.5 to 2.6 with no problems. the modchip just reflashes the psps chip. you just use the update eboots.

@hexcodez where do you get the modchip has a second cpu? The modchip has
a second nand flash so technically your the one lying not riizza.
