I have quite a few isos that I have extracted and converted back to AVI using ImTooDVDRipper, I then burnt them onto DVD-RW so I can put them on my DVD hard-drive (DivX compatible).

There is a lag in audio compared to video.

If I put an AVI movie directly onto DVD-RW using DivX player then it works fine, its obviously just the converted ones that have the problem.

Can anyone help me fix this?

The first thing you need to find out is whether or not they are out of sync on the original AVI when they're on your computer, i.e. whether or not they're going thru a conversion after that step as they're going onto your DVD-RW. If they're out of sync there then it sounds like a problem with your first conversion, if they're not then it's your second conversion that's going bad, if there is a second conversion. Make sure that you're keeping the framerate at the original framerate as well. If you're in us then it's NTSC which is 29.97 fps, your resultant AVI from your dvd rip should be encoded at 29.97 NOT 23 fps, or this will cause sync issues which worsen over time. Hope this information helps.

Thanks. I have just had a play and and the problem lies after I have extracted the iso file using Magic Iso into VIDEO TS/AUDIO TS files. The sound is out of synch already before Ive converted. How do I fix that?

Hmmmmm. It seems at least on this one particular iso (movie) even when I burn it using DVDDecrypter it is still out of synch, just not as bad. Is there a program that I can use to have a play and get it "in synch"???

did you make the iso's from a dvd? or did you download the files? if you downloaded the files that is the problem garbage in garbage out, you should not have any problems if you just made a iso from a dvd. also it can't be fixed, good luck happy burning have a nice day
