I'm downloading a torrent file, which is 4.37 GB. I have 7.32 GB free space in the drive which I'm downloading into, but when I start downloaing, it says there's not enough disk space! I'm using UTorrent. Can anyone help me?
I am not entirely sure but I think temperory files take up space aswell.
Here is what I suggest.
You should get something like CCleaner or Easycleaner, type it into Google, or something.
Clean out all the junk on your computer.
Clean out your browser cache and cookies.
Defrag your hard disk (if you want to that is.)
And maybe you should be able to free up some extra space.
If that free space is not enough then delete stuff you do not need.
If you cannot delete things at that very point in time, then set Utorrent up so that it does NOT allocate disk space in advance, make it so that it allocates disk space as you download. (I am not entirely sure that you can do this on UTorrent.)
Take a look at this UTorrent FAQ scroll down to the generals section to find your problem.
