i need to know what program other than Nero to burn an AVI to a cd i just bought a dvd player that plays DivX and need to know what program or if there is something free to use

Any application which burns a 'Data CD', that is which simply puts the files as-they-are in a CD-ROM media.

If you're satisfied by your burner's minimum burning speed (which is not necessarily 1X, for my burner the minimum speed is 4X), the trial version of CDRWin is fine (if your CD-ROM unit is in the list of the supported drives, download the trial and test it)....

I don't know many other free applications.
I am using Nero 7.2.7 (CDRWin and Nero v6.x don't recognize my burner, only Nero v7.x does) ...
