Broken black clamp on mobo(lcd backlighting) help

its the ribbon tothe left. I can see that the lcd screen works if I shine a light on it. So the black thing that clamps down totally broke off. I have tried everything trying to get the backlighting back on, but ita a no go.

Anyone know how I can connect that little ribbon without the back clamp. or is there a way to fix this? its a 1.5 mobo too

its rather hard to fix those. you would have to buy a mobo to get the lil piece because its hard to find them without. there have been a couple users here tho that managed with some scotch tape.

are you being serious or sarcastic about the scotch tape thing. Because i have tried everything to get it to connect, but nothing.

im being 100 percent serious. it has quite a few uses for the psp. its what i use to clean my lcd and faceplate whenever i have to take it off. but yea someone had the same problem and used tape to hold the ribbon in place.
