Hi
I need ur help badly,
I did everything as told and i see the blue screen , after 2 sec the screen went black with power still on, then after abt 24s it power off, tried 1 whole day formatting and reinstalling and retrying , still cant get this work.PLS help me ,
mine was ver 2.6 upgraded to v2.71
NEVER reboots only power off
i read some of the ppl in threads also have this problem , and in the end how u guys get it to work?

this is gonna sound stupid and dont rip me a new one here but...

have you tried taking out the battery for a while

try reinstalling all your software piece by piece, clean install henc and all your other devhook apps (worked on my buddy's 2.71)

if it all goes bad and you suspect something might have gone wrong, ive heard that certain versions of devhook mods write to flash, downgrade to 2.5-2.6 then upgrade to 2.7 then do clean installs. I've made it a habit to backup my working configs so if something goes wrong i can rule software out

yes i have done a clean reinstalling , yes even tried one by one and step by step installing,and i also use (devhook chunglam) easy install also the same out come , tested with another mem stick also the same ...........Sian
blue screen for 2s then turn black for 24s then power off NEVER REBOOT

chunglams version writes to flash (check the guide on this site)

Downgrade then upgrade is the only thing I can think of, also make sure you're fully shutting off your system not just throwing it into standby mode.

well i used teh easy installer provided here on AD and it works like a charm everytime! try it but i t hink they might of removed it (not sure why)

I wouldnt use chunglam's, this is like the 10th query ive gotten about a possible flash faux paux.....3 of my clients all I had to do was downgrade and upgrade.

I would build it myself instead of using easy installers, you never know what they can put in those, but if you want to i suggest you go to the original thread with the link on it(i.e. the iso on 2.71 thread), dont just trust random people and any random upload/share url they may give you (no offense to anyone in this thread)
