Hi,

Is there a setting in Nero 7.0 that will allow me to choose the burn speed when using DvdFab? When Nero begins the burn process it's always at 16X. I would like to set it at 6X or 8X.

Thanks

Hi filmczy
In DVDFab at the top right hand click on the common settings icon. From what I remember that's where you can change the burn speed if you have the full version of DVDFab (not just the ripper).

Thanks for the reply. DvdFab gives you two burn options: VSO Burning Engine and Nero Burning ROM. It is my understanding that the DVDFab pull-down menu that allows you to choose the burn speed in the "common settings" is for the VSO Burning Engine only. I'm still trying to figure out how to set the burn speed using Nero Burning ROM.

Hmmm I no longer have DVDFab.
Have you tried changing the burn settings there to see if that works?

You can open burning rom and pick dvd-video then change the burn speed in the burn tab but once you close Nero it doesn't keep the default burn setting.

@filmczy

Here's how to set your desire burning speed via Nero Burning Rom. This is at the stage when your ready to burn. Regardless if it's VIDEO_TS or ISO (Image) file, both works the same way by clicking on the BURN tab on top.

**NOTE: you must have a DVD+R or DVD-R inside your burner already and ready to be burned. Look at picture for reference.
