Hi, I need some help. Getting Nero to help you is nearly impossible. Im getting these type of errors on certain media using Nero ultra. "generating high compatibility border fail. Here is my log. Im going through dvd r like crazy. If this has been addressed already I apologize. Chavez

What brand of discs are you using? The #1 cause of burn failures is bad media. Tell me you are not using Memorex..... or any other "store value" brand. Stick with name brand like Verbatim, Maxell, Sony, or top of the line like Taiyo Yuden.
Look for the made in Japan label on these good brands.

If he wants to update his firmware, you could get it Here.
I would recomend checking your media first, then as a last resort the firmware. A bad firmware flash could ruin the drive. Be warned...
