Help with NesterJ/Devhook46

I was able to get devhook running well and used it to play a couple of isos. However, I have some questions about using it with NesterJ. I did a few searches here and elsewhere but didn't find what I was looking for.

First, I was under the impression that I had to be running at 1.5 to use NesterJ, but when I got to 1.5 and attempted to use it it told me I needed to update. It is the newest version of NesterJ so maybe it's changed but everything I've read said I needed to be at 1.5 to run it.

So am I able to run it while at 2.71 (my default)? Also, do I need to use a UMD like with isos while using devhook to play NesterJ? If you would like to help, I'd appreciate it. If you do please be as detailed as possible regarding the process. Thanks guys.

Sorry guys, I actually just figured it out. I do still have a question though (would have edited above instead of double-posting, but all I saw was the option to edit thread title)...in NesterJ, how do you save state, etc.? I know you can save and load states with other emus (nesticle for instance), how can it be done with NesterJ? Thanks again.
