hi i am new at this Azureus business and i have a question.i have managed to download files and import them to Azureus but they have a red smiley next to them.i know this means i am not connected to any peer but how can i fix this? i have tested the port i am using and it said it was ok. thank u

Hi,

You got a firewall?? (hardware or sofware)

You need to allow Azureus access to the network via this, also does this happen with ALL the torrents you download?

no firewall i think though i dont exactly know how i can check this out and it happens to all torrents

Check if you have windows firewall running (Control Panell > secuirty centre > windows firewall OFF).

If thats off, check with your comps admin whether they have installed any other firewall software, also are you behind a router?

i think my problem might be the port any port suggestions? iam i supposed to try random numbers and test them untill it says ok?because i tested the port i have been using and this time it said nat error
