whats the best P2P to download movies in AVI so i can convert them to mp4? i heard limewire is the best

well if ur going to used p2p programs i would go with bearshare. but theyre littered with viruses and most antivirus programs will pick up P2P programs as a virus and delete them.

i mess with limewire pro its fast as heck and from what i see it has fewer viruses then bareshare

I agree torrents are much more reliable because they usually are what they say they are, the only problem is finding legit torrent tracker sites. IMO utorrent works the best for me and is compatible with most torrents cos you can change the port you use to connect whereas alot of torrent apps still use the default port which alot of people are beginning to block. Personally I use Morpheus for p2p, Bearshare seems riddled with spyware. The only thing that sucks about Morpheus is no matter what you search for you'll get results and if the file is under a meg its a definite virus and anything else under a reasonable file size of what your looking for is usually not what it says it is or its incomplete. So basically you gotta be very picky on what you choose to download.

No im using the pro version. And I know what I'm talking about. There is no escaping the viruses that lurk in P2P programs.

yeah lemme tell ya. thats exactly what we do here. which file would i need to res-hack to change the text in my shutdown/log-off screen? or even the start menu. how could i change the bitmap of the flag to a different bitmap?

Thats not funny cos someone asked me once how to turn off the feature on the XP login screen that says you have so many unread messages. I told him nicely to go away.. no way in hell I was taking this guy through the registry... SUPE call!!! and he told him NICELY to go away too. Im sorry but that type of tech support is like trying to walk a monkey thru disarming a bomb... its gonna go off, somethings gonna get blowed up and your the one at fault.. EF THAT!

Hello Every one,
I have some problems with Limewire Pro 4.12.3 recently regarding slow speeds, i used to be able to download at speeds from 16-60kbps but now the best speeds i get is only 0-2kbps. ive been to other lime wire forums and their advise didnt help. One of the advise was to delete the .limewire preference folder after i did that, lime wire could not connect at all. Anyway if anyone has experience regarding slow downloads, your help is much appreciated. Thanks

@deosvx ,you have no idea what you are talking about. The only difference between pro and normal is that their are faster download and search speeds.
@everyone, you should technically get more virus' from Limewire
(if you download them) as it searches almost all of the p2p networks (Kaaza, Bittorent etc.) though it is a clean install unlike ares (free ed)
