Hi everyone I'm new here and am running into a little problem. Nero Isn't Nero bringing all of my movie file over from my hard drive I back up the movie to the dvd and there is only half of the movie, it seems to happen when I try to put more than one movie to a dvd.

Which part of Nero are you using like Vision, Recode etc?

I would stick with just pointing 1 movie on a disc. Putting 2 or more will probably need some heavy compression and the quality will suffer even more.

I am using Nero vision. I am running into some new problems I can record easily to a DVD+ RW but I keep getting and error when tring to write to a DVD +R disc

Ok the burn error could be due to the + R media you are using and/or
the firmware on the drive not being up to date.

What's the make, model & firmware version of the drive? Go to Nero ToolKit>InfoTool. The make & model will be listed in the drop down. In the drive tab there's a field for the firmware version.

You can check the drives manufacturers site or here to see if there is a later version: http://rpc1.org

In Vision when you add the 2 movies do you receive any pop messages saying something about the file size and to let Nero adjust it to fit?

You can also try changing the quality setting in Vision when adding 2.
Click on 'more' then 'default video option'. In the dvd-video tab change the quality setting to standard play. But again quality may go down.

It's an older drive and even though your firmware is up to date newer media like 16x may give it a problem. Last update on this drive was in 2004.
+RW hasbeen around much longer so your drive will do better with it.
Look for 8x speed or lower rated media for this drive.

I picked up a new dvd rw drive erase all my programs reloaded everything with the Nero 6 and it is workingh fine now thanks for the help.
