just got a game scooby doo on e bay and when iput it in my psp 2.1 it says to play i need to upgrade to 2.7 what do i need to do as i am also thinking of downgrading although not 100% sure how to do this i have had some info that i will be using very soon as i want to download games off internet and play also i have put a film onto memory stick via progame xzoom i think it is called its soley to convert the film and transfer to psp but when i play it stops and freezes aftera couple of seconds pleas help

search threads in here it has it all...although DONT UPGRADE is all i can say

heres what you should do:
downgrade to 1.5
install devhook or other custom firmware
play like crazy

if you got dev hook this is the settings for scooby doo
DevHook 0.46 settings and change to:
- OTHER MENU
- then UMD SFO VERSION and set to 2.XX -to- 2.00.
- UMD-MODE: IMAGE+ANYUMD
- REMOTE CTRL: REMOTE CONTROLLER
- PRELOAD ADRESS: 0x89200000
