Hello,

I am trying to burn some data disc DVD-R's and I am getting the illegal disc error. I have checked the sticky thread and most of the fixes don't see, to work. I was using Imitation DVD-R and I went through a hundred with no problem, and apparently they suck as a media. Now I bought a stack of 100 Sony, which apparently are good and I keep getting this illegal disc error. The files I am trying to burn are no different, I also changed to Nero version .18 which everyone suggests and I am still getting error at the same place. Could some one please look at my error log and help.

Many Thanks,
Jason

Jason Smith

Have you checked for the latest firmware?

I also found a lot of information about the drive and installation at the site below.

You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml
