Nero burning problem

This is a strange one. I've been using Nero Burning ROM 7 for some time now to burn cds without any problem. Recently however discs I've burned have had the first second or so missing at the beginning of the first track & the beginning of subsequent tracks has appeared at the end of the previous track. What is going wrong???

Since my original post I've updated my copy of Nero & things now seem ok. I'll repost if it happens again. Thanks
