My first retail disc. I took the tiny CD out of the white container after much prying and dropped the lil disc into the drive. All I hear is a ton of racket like the disc isnt in there properly. What am I doing wrong?

what if I carefully open up another UMD container thingy take THAT disc out and put the other in its place? will that work or are the containers unique for each game? Id much rather have a working copy of 50 Cent Bullet Proof than GTA.

i do that all the time with my sample umds because the pawnshop right next to my house gives away psp games for $2 just not inside the umd but a regular small cd as long as you slowly open it it will be ok because it will be easy to snap back on
For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

...OMFG... Cannot... believe... it... As a former PSP Firmware 1.5 Owner I must say... WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!
Anyway mistakes happen if you don't read the manual. At least this time, you won't do it agian.
My best bet, and only bet, is to buy a replacement game. No game-store will ever replace that.
Replacing a UMD into another UMD is actually hard work, I got a game partially working, but it was ruined beyond repair.

omg. Now that is awesome. You dont even need to glance at the manual! You can practically rip the thing out of the box and figure out that it is a cartridge! Lol, Dud thats awesome!I had to read your problem twice to figure out what it was! I can only suggest taking it back to the place where you bought it, and explain the whole problem.

my guess would prolly be because they're not meant to be opened. check ebay u might be able to find some cases.
