Updating from v1.5 to v2.71, should I?

Should I update to v2.71? Since DarkAlex has made a lot of homebrews for v2.71.
Can I play ISOs via DevHook in v2.71? Any suggestion, please...

dont need devhook any more just load games form game menue! n odevhook im gna wait till he make built in hostsfs then im upgrading! cuz i liek devhook and my custom frimware it makes the psp more custom u no what i mean? with the 2.71 custom its just plain it doesn look like its hacked. mine one really!! looks like a hacked custom psp nice!

For me 1.5 is still the best permanentely choice because 2.71 SE-B will only last a while unless some it get updated to later firmwares. People prefer 2.71 SE-B because they can do almost everything 1.5 can do on a 2.71 and the dont have to be switching between firmwares.HOWEVER when the new Devhook emulating 2.8x firmware or later, comes out because it will come out sooner or later those 2.71 SE-B users will be switching between 2.71 and whatever firmware the New devhook emulates, thats when they will start to compare switching between 1.5 and a new devhook, or between 2.71 and a new devhook. Thats when 1.5 get its comeback.

he said upgrade to 2.71 not 2.71 SE-B
I recommend you upgrade to 2.71 SE-B NOT 2.71
It allows direct ISO loading (no devhook)and 99% direct homebrew launching like in 1.50.
