Problems with sony DRU 500A

I've just bought a dvd recorder sony DW U10A. But he doesn't want to burn DVD-RW so I've installed new firmware for DRU 500A (v 2.0f) but it doesn't change anything.

If someone know ANYTHING about this problem : HEEEEEEEEEEEELP !!!!

Yep, I tried Nero and CopytoDVD and recordNow. I use Imation DVD-RW

I have a sony dru 500ax and I've only burned one -RW and it worked fine with record now max.

What errors are you getting?

An illegal medium error?

Try a better quality -RW. I assume the other formats can be burned?

Sonys seem to have probs with Nero so I would just not use it. Stick with Record Now max.
