my keyboard started moving more than one space with a hit,
for example if in am playing halo i press the up arrow key and i walk about four steps with one hit of the key its doing my head in!
please help
i cant even type proper too its soooo annoying!!!
i think a setting has been changed but i don't know how to set it back, i opened the keyboard properties and tried changing some seatings but no use.

man I know that you need it very much but there's nothing you can do to fix it. , I've got the same problem too, I'll tell you this buy a brand new keyboard. It doesn't cost that much..

.......r u for real its not fixable??!!
i thought a simple reformat would fix the problem, but i want to fix without reformatting, to much trouble!!!

there are no parts available to buy even if you search the whole world for that.If I were you, I buy a brand new keyboard..

try another keyboard to see if problem stays or goes away. ps2 or usb?

its a wireless keyboard which connects by ps2,
i have a wireless mouse in the ps2 port too and a normal usb mouse connected too.

uninstall/disconnect them, reboot and reconnect. it might work.

try resetting the receiver, mouse & keyboard. are the batteries new or fully charged?

Try to use the keyboard on another comp and if it has the same problems, I would suggest that you try to open it up and make sure that everything is "placed" properly, if it isnt, "place" the stuff properly...if that does not work, then...wait for a special to come in a store and grab the deal!

P.S.
For the moment, you can use the On-Screen Keyboard intergrated in WinXP!


If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

LOL i am the biggest idiot,
i tried reinstalling, resetting, connecting to another pc and in the end i bought new batteries and the keyboard works great.
