hey can some 1 help cause today i was trying to play twisted metal with my friend but for some reason i counldnt go online but my friend could cause hes version is 2.60 and mine i have the very new it is called 2.82 so plz tel me whats wrong with my psp

did u have the WLAN switch turned on? on the left of the psp the little slider switch in the up position?

yea the switch is up and theres no green light or anything all it says error with the network on twisted metal

Do you have a wireless access point, or are you playing on ad-hoc. If you are, you could have switched channels. Under network settings go to ad hoc, and switch your channel to automatic, and have your friend do the same.

and if that still doesnt work your wifi may be screwed up and you might have to get it replaced

yea we had the same channel under ad hoc set to automatic and mine still dosne work but his works just fine do u think it has sumthing to do with my version cause mine is 2.82 and his is 2.60

no it has nothing to do with the fw

by online do you mean wifi if so on your computer go to start, run and type in "cmd" and then "ipconfig" and then set up a new connection on your psp and go to custom instead of easy setup up and ttype the ip etc. in manually, but default gateway on the computer is the default router on the psp. Also you will have to go to your router settings to find the primary and secondary dns

Maybe you are using different versions of the game, maybe one of you is using a US version and the other an EUR version.
Just a guess.

Well are you both using original UMD games or has your friend downloaded his?
If he downloaded his then it might say in the nfo file that came with his download...if not then there is probably some way to tell but I do not know of it.

multiplayer hacking meaning hes taking the umd and created a game then pops the umd out but doesnt end the game and you pop the game in and join the game
