Are you using a router? If so, you need to forward a port to it. Go here to forwarding, find your router and follow the instructions: http://www.portforward.com/ You won't need to set a static ip address unless it changes in ipconfig/all everytime you restart. Are you by any chance using Windows firewall as well as another?

Sorry, I have never used Azureus so screenshots wouldn't help much. Other than enabling encryption, someone more familar with settings will have to jump in.

Ok, while you're waiting for someone else to help, did you get your ip address from Start>Run>cmd>OK>ipconfig/all>enter or portforward. Check and see they're the same; they are not the same for me. Use the address at ipconfig/all, make a note of it and just type exit and hit enter to close and that is the address you forward. Is this the one that shows as forwarded in your router configuration? If it changes in ipconfig/all every time you restart, you'll have to set a static address that never changes and forward that. There are instructions on how at portforward (its pretty easy) but it's not necessary unless your address keeps changing (I never have in 3 years).

A pm has been sent to someone that can help you and, I think, uses Azureus too.

Is your router wireless or are you directly connected to it as I think I read that can affect speeds? Not sure if that would affect connection lights, though.

Lol you know you're flippin' leet when people send you PM's asking you to help someone. :=)

Anyway...Here's what I want you to do, and report back.

First thing's first, I want you go go here:
http://www.plucky.org/download-central/p2p-tutorials/

and download my "torrent firewalled flowchart", because for the most part it covers just about every reason you could be firewalled. If you get stuck, or if you're still red, come back and tell me, and we'll go from there.
