im having real problems playing socom online and just loading the umd with 2.71 SE-B

iv tryed playing socom online with the firmwear 2.71seb but i keep getting dissconected........and iv just tryed again and it wont even run the umd please help i wish i didnt upgrade now

well u can always use the recovery option (have to have the 1.5 eboot installed first) and go back to 1.5. and them emulate 2.71 and try it.

well i cant say for sure theres always the chance of something going wrong. but when i tried socom it worked for me. I never actually played a game online tho, i just created the account and signed up. and browsed the servers for a second.

yes if u havent installed the 1.5 eboot your going to need to do that. download this - http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/875 install the recovery option. after you do that shut ur psp off. as soon as u turn it back on hold the R button. itll boot into configuration mode. use the recovery option on the first page.
