Memory stick problem.

Just got a new memory stick, the psp will not read it and when I try and format through the psp it just says there is no memory stick inserted.

Also the orange light on the psp is continually flashing when the stick is inserted.

My old stick still works fine so is this new one broke?

hapened to me aswell so i threw my 32gb out the window lol u need to get hold of the guy hu skanked u and really make him earn his earnings lol

i personally never heard of a 32gb ms unless i been gone for that long that they skipped 8,16 and went straight to 32 lol

thats the signs of bad memstick. i have had 1 or two that have done that to me. and the max memory 128MB one is notorious for that also. what brand is it?

It's a sandisk 2GB, seems pretty genuine to me although I did get it from ebay, its exactly the same build quality and look as my old working one and it came properly packaged and everything.

I figure it must just be broken, I've emailed the guy and am awaiting a reply.

I've tried inserting and removing it numerous times and it does the same each time... Very annoying as I was hoping to play VCS today with the music not ripped.

you dont find as many fake sandisks as u find fake sonys so it prolly got damaged during the shipping process. was it sent from the states or japan. if it was anywhere in asia its a good possibility its fake. i have come acrossed fake UMD Doors from there.

i never had problems with sandisk only sony i had a sony 4gb and it didnt work from ebay and sent it back and was reinburst and bought to sandisk 2gb which worked fast and perfectly but later on i just bought a hdd from ebay games all my backups are safe and sound on it
