hi i am planning on building a new pc for gaming on. I have found all the parts that i think are compatible i just was wondering if anyone could recheck them for me and tell me if there is any way of getting the price down from £442:53 to below £400?
overclockers.co.uk do some dvd drives cheaper, advancetec and microdirect are also good on price.
if you have a look in the budget pc building thread theres a e6300 build for less than £450 if you can strech that far, it might have some good alernatives in it.
Yeah, other than that you won't really get it much cheaper, prehaps go for a cheaper case if your not bothered about looks and maybe get your ram from ebay.
Basically your going to have to pay up if you want a decent system.
this might be a stupid question but does it matter what dvd drive and case i use? is there a compatability issue between the case and other components? or can i get one for like £10 from local cheap shop?
is a 1.8Ghz core 2 duo equivalent to two 1.8 Ghz processors running. can someone explain a bit more about the core 2 duo please as i am not sure what the difference is between that and a pentium D thanks
