I took the advice here and installed PG2 on my laptop Saturday morning before going to bed. Sat night I was playing with PG2 and noticed an ISP / IP addy out of mainland China. It was hitting my IP and port 55818. 55818 is what I use for P2P with uTorrent.

I then checked and saw where uTorrent was running, seeding a few files.

My ? is, is the port I use for p2p like 55818 only open while uT is running and does it shut down when uT is not running? Am I leaving ports open all the time?

I tell uT to use PPnP and specify 55818. I haven't actually told my router to open any ports for uT manually.

Why was PG2 blocking McAfee, my AV? I told it not to.
