I have problem when ripping a DVD and making an ISO/IMG file. I cant play the film in VLC-player and when i try to play in Nero ShowTime my subtext shows up in a very strange font and its black. (Its white when i play the movie direct from the DVD.)

I have tried to rip it with several different apps, for example CloneDVD, Nero, DVD Shrink and ImageBurn. I have AnyDVD installed, and my system is Windows XP Media Edtion.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The movie is "Big One" by Michael Moore. (But i dont think that matters.)

VLC media player is a very good media player, http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

that's a 1997 movie and I'm sure there is nothing special about that movie that will stop it from being ripped properly! I bet DVDDecrypter can do that movie by itself! try it.... don't run AnyDVD in the back ground. Then try to play the DVD off the hard drive! It should work.
