hi a few weeks ago i submitted a thread about Nero not burning DVD-R discs, i think it is the Nero program but i am not shaw, I have the first version of Nero 7 that they brought out, so is it Nero or my burner. DO u think i should upgrade to the latest version or what??

If you have Nero 7.0.0.0 then I would do the following...uninstall, run this clean tool, http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then choose one of the following versions

Post up your Nero History.txt log. Make sure to edit/delete out your Nero Serial in prior to post back here.

Nero 7.5.7.0 try => C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Ahead\Nero Burning Rom\NeroHistory
For older Nero 7 => c:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory
