running psp roms on v1.5 psp

i have a v1.5 psp and have am able to run psp roms of older psp games but not newwer ones i have dev hook .46 how can i run newer rom like vive city stories?

but hex, isn't it technically a rom? since it's an image of the medium used to store the game data, just like an image of an old cartridge system?

requiring an Emulator (Devhook to Emulate 2.71...) to play the game?

if i'm not making sense, oh well.

Yeah u make total sense but i think its still considered an iso. you could totally be right but i think the difference is ROM's are copied from game cartridges, circuits pre-programmed with the data, and ISO's are copies of an actual disc. I could be totally wrong tho and have no idea wat im talkin about.
