I'm having some probs converting videos from a smallville dvd. I used DVD Decrypter, decrypted to .vob files. Then played them using Super to make sure they worked. They did, but when i try to convert using PSP as output container, H.264/AVC as the output codec, and AAC as the output audio codec, but it didnt encode! it takes 5 sec and it says error occured. Is this cuz its copyrighted? Also, when i convert using mp4 (MPEG-4) as output container, mpeg4 as output video codec, and AAC as output audio, it works and plays on my computer, but not on my PSP.
I buy bricked psp's and screens.

im not sure about the h.264 file, but when you convert using mp4 as the output container, mpeg4 as the output video coded and the rest blablabla...you need to re-name the mp4 file to M4V*****.mp4 (* represents any 5 numbers, they HAVE to be numbers.) or else it will not play on your psp. and it also makes a big difference in which folder of the movie folder you put your movie in. the file should be in movies/mp_root/100MNV01. that should get your movie to play on your psp.
1. Id use a DVD2MPEG converter... (which takes forever cos it splits the A and the V and puts em together)
2. View the MPEG with media Player, go all the way to the end and make sure the vid and aud are still in sync.
3. Lastly use 3GPConverter and set it up for MP4 PSP renamed. This will automatically convert it to mp4 and generate a thumbnail image.

the file isnt supposed to go in movies/mp_root/100MNV01 u almost had it but the files go into MP_ROOT>>100MNV01 and they have to b caps :)
