Just started to use this again as I love this piece of software, but im getting a fair few that it wont encode...

This is what the log says

im totally stumped and cant find where the warnings are?

any help would be great thanks

I never used it, sorry. But usually the LOG files are placed in source's directory in destination's directory. Or, in this case, in Hcenc (your selected encoder) LOG files directory.

If you want, yo can post here Avisynth_Script_File.avs file (open it with notepad) and AVI file's information obtained using VirtualDub or some other AVI info application. But no guarantee...

think I have sussed it with a bit of your help...upon installing VirtualDub the program wouldnt run the file....turns out it was a out dated version of ffd show which was to blame
