Cannot burn with Nero 6

Hello I'm new here and I need help :(
*I'm Dutch but I think that my English will be good enough so we can solve my problem
I have just recently re-installed my computer with Windows XP SP 1
Everything went ok and everything is working nicely.. Well the bios boot menu is a bit slow but that isin't a Nero problem ;)
I have installed Nero with my cd: Nero Burning Rom 6.3.1.18f. The installation went normal without problems. I wanted to burn for the first time with Nero 2 Days ago. So I started Nero & chose the option: Audio-CD maken (Dutch) / create audio-cd ;). Then I see Nero Epress and it close.. I see a half second Nero Express then it exit and I return to Nero.

I tried to create a data-cd and again I saw Nero for a half second and it closed..
I though, maybe it doesn't works because I haven't update it. So I did that, everything went normal. So i tried again, now with Nero Start Smart. And again the same problem, I see it pop-up for a half second :(
So I removed it all. And again the same problem. Now I removed it all with the Nero Remove tools from the Nero website. And again it isin't working.
And now I'm here, hopefully you can help me :)

Try to upate your operation system.
(install Windows XP SP2)
After that you might need to install Nero again...
Does Nero StartSmart work? What about Nero Burning ROM?
(look them in start menu)

1. I won't update to Service Pack 2, got feeling that it won't work
2. Nero Start Smart works perfect
3. Nero Burning ROM, euhm I don't know where it is.. I did tried to start C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero and then Nero with the old icon but that closed within a half second..
4. Well, it is a big list but this is that Nero Info Tools said..I asume u ment that I did the save option?

5. I tried bouth update's and it did the trick.. Well, I can now open the burn option (create audio-cd / data-cd ect.) & burn :)
But when I close the programme after 3 second's there comes a windows pop-up (offcourse in Dutch, so I'll try to translate it to English)

Well, the big problem is solved: I CAN BURN AGAIN
But now the other new problem: Can we solve the memory error?

Can't I just only remove this programme with a Nero Tool from the website ?

Becos it is good advice, from a knowledgeable, trusted member of aD.

I never say it will cause problem with everyone...
But I have read, and seen cases where removing that has fix things.
Good Advice? Well... hard to say... maybe, maybe not. But will this mamory error just go away? It is better not to try?
In this point that support email might be the best change.

Euhm, im going to reinstall my computer in a few days
because of a spy-ware problem
And then I will install Nero again,
i will cancel the installation of Nero BackItUp Application.
I hope that that would do the trick :)
I'll post again in a few weeks to see if the problem is solved

Well I'm Back
I just installed Nero with the CD and Im having the same BIG problem again, cannot run Nero Express..
Now I could update to the Stable Nero version with the update's patches (from gwendolin) but I first want to try it after removing Nero BackItUp.. maybe that is the trick to make it working again?
So now I want to remove Nero BackItUp but How? When I try to adjust Nero with Configuration Menu --> Software --> Adjust / Remove I can only remove big components from Nero and not BackItUp.. I looked in the folder of BackItUp in the Ahead Folder but there is not a uninstall in the folder.. So how can I only remove this programme?
*I cannot chose during the installation to NOT install Nero BackItUp

Well make sure you''re not doing anything else whilst burning. And you can try running a registry cleaner to free up some memory.

Well when you install programs, they take up space on your RAM. Then when you change or remove them, it leaves crap on your RAM, taking up space. You can use CCleaner or the one I use is Registry Mechanic.
