Okay well i use torrentleech and i noticed that the other day that the max speed i can get is 750kbs but i have a 15mb connection i have correctly forwarded my ports and the torrents i use have like 825 seeders and 5 leechers and i will still get 750 i dont use a firewall and i have Timewaner Roadrunner so whats the prombleM?

The problem is that you do NOT have a 15Megabit connection.

I guarantee it. Especially not w/ timewarner/comcast/adelphia/roadrunner.

Post back if you can prove it, but 15Mb/s is...well, far beyond the theoretical max for a cable connection.

hey u can have a 15 Mb conenction. You even said Megabit TomMelee in ur post. 15 Megabit connection is ~ 2200 kb/s. And OptimumOnline offers 15 Megabit connection for its cable service btw.

what the hell are you talking about I said megabit in my post?

And where can you get a 15megabit cable connection? Last I heard, cable wasn't even theoretically capable of over about 10.

Although, I'm looking @ the optimum online page, but..I don't really believe they offer a connection that stays that fast. I think if anything they're caching common pages/files.

Seriously, 15mbits is hella, hella fast. As in out-write-the-buffer-on-your-hdd fast.

But, I could be wrong. It happens. Craps gotta cost a couple hundred bucks a month tho, regardless.

Thats sounds right then. 750kbs should be your max downspeed.
