I'd like to thank those who helped me downgrade my 2.60 to 1.5 - it went off without a problem, although I could of swore I bricked my PSP for about 20 scary seconds.

Now I'm trying to do the same for a friend who has a 2.01, which I keep reading is impossible to downgrade through any means. Is this the case? Your help is much appreciated and I apologize if this information is located somewhere already - the search function didn't much help me.

psp-hacks is a trust worthy site prety much every one on ad uses that site and qjnet is anouther good site for trust worthy app's and hacks

Haven't downgraded the PSP yet, but found out I can run Nes, Supernes, and Doom and other programs through the Porter Eloader from Noobz. Pretty sweet.
