I was wondering if there is anyway of overwriting the digital property rights from a website so that i am able to copy a song(s) to CD (and also to hear it offline). The website uses Real Audio. I am able to save the song in my favorites but in order to play it, it has to connect to the website first. Thanx

Reading your question one could assume that you want to mess with copyrighted material in a way that is not allowed by the copyright owner and ask for advice about this here. This would be a violation of forum rule #5:
Quote:
5. -> PIRACY AND LINKING TO PIRATED MATERIAL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE FROZEN IF YOU DO THIS <-
You might want to (re-)read the rules: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2487
Please try to ask your questions in another way in future.

For anyone interested how to decode real audio files: Either

- Use TotalRecorder to capture audio during playback and save it as .wav file

OR

- Get a plugin for Winamp. Several possibilities are described here: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?showtopic=6489&st=0&#entry82879
- Either use Winamp's diskwriter to write .wav files on playback or use some other player that can use Winamp input plugins and has a diskwriter feature. My favourite: XMPlay: http://www.un4seen.com

Sorry, not my intention for illegal activity. I just wanted to the music for personal, private use. They are the latest arabic songs and since I live in Canada, it may take weeks to months before new music arrives here. But I will try the suggestions mentioned.
