Burning DVD?s from home videos using WIN DVD CREATOR, When playing DVD in home player, after appox one hour DVD will start to stop and jump. The problem will get progressively worse (appox 3 hours) when DVD is just a series of still frames. The DVD Plays ok on my computer. Can anyone please help as I?m very ,very, very fed up.

Try using different media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. (Or use media that your DVD burner recommends you use due to compatibility)
Make sure your DVD burners firmware is up to date.
Burn the media at 4X or half the rated speed of the media. If it is 4x or 8x burn at 4x if it is 16x burn at 8x.
Booktype DVD+R media to DVD-ROM if possible.
Set output size of DVD to 4360 so it does not burn to close to the edge of the media.
Do not multi-task during burn of the DVD.
Just a few tips for you to try to make a better burn.

Problem sorted ! seems to be a media problem, I was using DVD RW?s made sense as I could check editing, chapters ect and redo if needed. This time used a DVD R and it plays ok.
Posted to a advance forum because it the best place to get advance info and talk to people who have a bit of sense like larrylje. Shame I cant say that about re2cue , never mind keep taking the pills.

ahhh, my misinformed friend, it's more like this. You will meet people like larry (even Larry himself) in newbie forum, ripping forum, wherever you might go they will be there. however, do you think that maybe, just maybe newbie questions and users would check there first? There is a reason for different forums, figure it out. Take offense all you want, I just thought maybe a newbie who admits to being new to this would go check out the forum created just for people that are that... newbies. If you were well versed in ripping and burning, but forwhatever reason just joined AD.com and were set to newbie status that's different. Lots of "newbies" are not newbies at all, but you however admitted to being new to burning. You are a newbie by all accounts. It's called posting in the relevent forum. Make sense? I thought I was nice about it but since you want to get your back up and started being a jerkoff I'll lay it out like this. Here is the description for each forum:
Advanced: This forum is dedicated for _advanced_ DVD±R owners who want to backup their DVDs, home videos, etc to DVD-R, DVD+R or other recordable DVD media. If you're new in this area of interest, please visit our newbie forum instead.
Newbie:This forum is meant for beginners who wish to backup their DVD movies into writable DVD discs, including DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW and DVD+R. Please, if you consider your question to be a trivial, basic question related to DVD-R, post it here!
Think you can figure this out by yourself or do you need help? Nowhere does it say that only advanced users can go into the advanced forum, no they go and help newbies too.. Thats why a newbie, who admits to being uninformed should be posting their questions in the proper forum.
by your logic, why separate the different forums in the first place?
