Upgrade encoder in avi2dvd problem

Hope this is the right forum as I got no response and deleted it from a couple others..

I downloaded the new version of:
HCgui and HCenc 0.19.0.1 - release date 17-10-2006

I opened the folder and extracted all the files then went to
program files and opened the avi2dvd folder..Opened it's program folder,
cut and saved the the existing HCEnc elsewhere just in case..
Pasted the upgraded HCEnc folder in it's place..
Now when I run avi2dvd and it's at the point to open the encoder I
get a ! message that it can't open it.. Both the old and new version
have the same files and structure and only a slight change of folder
size..
Any settings or config files I need to change in the avi2dvd folder?
