I was finally able to back-up Monster House.

I first tried ripping with AnyDVD(latest version) and thereafter using CloneDVD2(latest version). Clone DVD 2 quit working after 55% of encoding.

So, I have heard of RipIt4me. got it, Decrypter again, Shrink, Fix VTS and valois, I had a working back-up, full copy.

However, I had to clean my original before I tried Ripit4me. So i'm not sure if it was AnyDVD and Clone or just a dirty Disc.

I would appreciate if any other members have backed this up using the Slysoft Suite, please post.

Hey Weycraze
I used AnyDVD and CloneDVD for this one. Didn't rip w/ AnyDVD 1st - just ran in the background w/ CloneDVD. No problems.

Sounds like the disc was dirty on why that combo errored out on you.

I was leary of trying the Slysoft combo again, but I'm glad it does work.

My bad, for not cleaning the disc the first time around!!!

On the other hand, although it takes my system about 20 min longer, I was quite impressed with the Ripit4me combination. Brought back some memories to see Decrypter back in action (LOL!)

I haven't had one yet that that copy hasn't beat :)

I use RipIt4Me too. I too like the 'old' memories of Decrypter and Shrink :) Still have a fondness for them :)
