I hope I'm not replowing old ground, but I've tried looking through other posts in this forum.

I have a VOB file with 6-7 segments which I would like to either or both edit down to 3 in one segment or 3 separate segments. I have been playing with VirtualDub, but get the error message about the source video stream uses compression blah blah blah. So I can't save the file, in whole or part, as AVI. I tried using Chopper XP, but that only opens a tiny part of the file and I can't seem to manually extract it either.

Ideas on editing?
