Hi, I hope someone can help me with this its driving me nuts. I'm trying to connect to the internet via my sbs server. I have a wireless router set as an access point which I'm connecting to. The PSP connects fine to the router and I have set my proxy correctly but everytime I connect it says that the proxy needs authentication. The problem is that there is no place to put a login and password for the proxy. Oh and I know it works as I have my PDA connected to it. So why the hell can't I enter my login details for my proxy grrrr, any idea guys

wep codes all entered and as I said it connects to the router fine, the problem is that there is no field to enter my proxy login details. I can access the server 2003 companyweb default internal page, even access my email, but I cant access external websites as this needs proxy auth...which I cant enter!! Unless there is a way to force the server to prompt for login details....very anoying

Well I think I know what the problem is. When I connect on a normal PC, a login box pops up asking for my details. Obviously the PSP is blocking this. Ive tried entering my details in the address field like username:password@serveraddress, but to no avail.

if using a proxy, you need top level domain ip address (the actual ip of the net connection) not the name of the proxy also dependant on network setup you will also need to add your PSPs IP address as an execption to the routing table

Malinki

I'll help anybody who needs PSP help but only if you've helped yourself first - Everything the scene knows is self taught. What makes you spoonfed n000bs special?

PROJECT EE IS A FARCE!! THE REAL SCENE HAS SPOKEN - n00bs with an idea but no coding skill does not make a firmware.

alright looks like you know what your talking about, the ip address ive entered is the ip address for the server, which is where the proxy is ( not really an expert in this area so correct me if im taking bollocks), this is the same ip i enter on all of our networked computers. I also have no idea how to add my psps IP to the exceptions list. I have full access to the ISA server. The server is running on windows sbs 2003. Any more help would be great, cheers
