Hi people,
I have been burning for a long time. I always use the same media (SONY DVD-R's).
Today my nero's not burning. I uninstalled the program, re-installed it after using clean tools and I'm still getting an error.
Here is my log... can anyone translate for me? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi,
Quote: Recorder: <BENQ DVD DD DW1650> Version: BCDC
Update your firmware to BCIC here
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2223
Quote: Burn process failed at 16x (22,160 KB/s
For now, try burning at 8x.
Quote: File 'Drivers\ASPI32.SYS': Ver=4.60
Your Aspi is out fo date. This can be updated here...
http://aspi.radified.com/
**However, don't update aspi if you get it to work with the above two suggestions**
:-)
Get back to me..

Thanks so much to both of you! I'm not sure what was the winner, but I'm back in business!
I updated the firmware and then updated both Nero packages... voila! I'm burning again!
I really appreciate your help... I thought my burner was toast! You two saved me some $$$ and my sanity :)
Thanks again!

there's one more thing:
Quote: 1:56:12 PM #6 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 267
Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
Last address to be written: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
you are burning right to the outer edge..... adjust to 4400 or less!

The movie I was trying to copy was originally burned by someone else.
I have shrink set at 4000 just to be safe :)
Thanks for the advice, maybe that's why her movies don't work about 10% of the time!
