Normally, free sites will give 1.0 and 1.5 versions of the psp since they got it when they first came out.
The one i got mine from is from

I swear, is jus been announced tht a downgrader was coming " tomorrow " at a greek site or something. Lets jus say, the f*** heads jus failed and the man DARK_ALEX can do it, i jus hope he doesnt quit. Hmm, this thread is incredible, lol, so far its gon to 12 pages, hmmm prety good.

No 2.8 downgrader is out...and i though dark_alexs was thinking of leving psp hacking...caues of some spanish guy making a fake site filled with trojans of him maybe distarcting him from making one downgrader?..idk but wait it out the'll be on in the next year im sure.

yeah i downgraded my 2.81 PSP with no probs. I downloaded the downgrader from a upload site. It was by a man called Chinno.
