i was playing marvel through devhook 0.46 and i was playing for around 4 hours then the psp turnes off and wasnt turning on again. It was definitely a brick because the green light switches on and nothing appears on the screen.

Try recharging the battery. >_> Sounds like what happened to me, I was playing homebrew and my psp just shut off, and wouldn't turn on. I thought it bricked, and I was so scared. It turned out the battery was just dead. lol

but it doesnt turn on through the ac power either. The green light goes on then turns off after 10-15secs.

Ouch man, yea it's not good to drop it. lol When I went to the doctor a couple months ago for surgery, I brought my psp with me to play while I was waiting, and when they began, i put my psp aside on the table, and my dad knocks it right onto the hard floor. I was so mad, haha. Well, it took my mind off the surgery. XD
One question dude, do you have a warranty? And if you do, they'll be sending you an updated psp. :( It's a sad sad world.

i dropped it onto a carpet floor and it wasnt dropped hard. I do have a warranty but it was bought in china. Finally it has all the symtoms of a bricked psp as it doesnt work through the ac power even if the battery isnt in it.

I dropped mine too and it ended up the same way as yours. I took apart the PSP to see any if I can fix it eg wire or contact lose. Can't find any and re-assemble back the PSP. The next thing it works!! Weird!. Could be a button is pressing and loosen up when I opened the PSP...can't tell for sure. May be you like to try.
