Every time I go to burn a movie it goes all the way to the end and then says verification fails. I have wasted alot of blank movie dvds doing this. Why is it saying this and how can i fix it. I have Nero 7.

If there is another way to burn my movies can someone let me know.

Have you tried playing them back? Just because verification failed doesn't mean they may not play.
The verification verifies what's burned against the files.

I have that option turned off - I verify by playback.

Use good media too like Verbatim or made in japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell. Poorer quality media can cause errors burning, verification or playback problems.

Burn at 1/2 the rated speed of the disc.
And make sure your burners firmware is up to date too.

How do I turn off the verification part?

It seems like it just gets stuck thier or it says verification failed.

And then I tried to play it and it wouldn't work.

Maybe it will once i shut off the verification...how do i do that?

Which part of Nero are you using? In Express the verify option in under the burn speeds.

Post your last Nero log - may give a better idea on why this is failing.
Just post the last one. The logs are separated by something like this:
=======****Nero Burning History***======

You can find them here:
program files>nero>nero 7>core>nerohistory

Just be sure to edit out the serial # - they usually begin w/ 1A, 1C or 5C.
