Okay this has happened with a few movies now so i know it wasnt just a corrupt file..

I have a move in AVI format. I used "WinAVIVideoConverter" to convert the AVI to dvd format... did that...
so now i have the audio and video folders. I used Nero express to burn them to a dvd.. when i play it in my player it says "Tv System doesnt match".. and thats it - This is the 3rd movie in a row that has done it..

any ideas??

Make sure you have the PAL or NTSC setting correctly selected. This usually happens on NTSC machines when trying to play a PAL movie. So if your system is an NTSC system make sure your setting in ConvertXTODvd is set to NTSC output.
