Just wondering how to change region code of my psp cause i can't play my umd videos from US(My aunt sends me UMD videos every month and i have a stock pile of them cant seem to make it work though cant complain i might offend here)by the way ihave a version 2.71 ta_082 mobo.Can someone help me pls....

region code is set by update so by updating your psp with US eboot you would be able to play us umds, the process you need to follow is risky though as you have the ta-082 motherboard.

Two options, either upgrade to 2.8 with an US eboot and wave goodbye to devhook

or

USe DAX's generic downgrader and go down to 2.5/2.6 (no lower as you WILL BREAK YOUR PSP) then upgrade back again using the US eboot

As far as I know they are the only two options available to you

if you can use dev hook you can play the films using that i tested it out with my u.k movies and they worked fine on my jap psp
