Hi, I am a newbie to this site and i do not know much about psp.

I want to down grade my psp 2.5 to version 1.5 and i was hoping some1 will help. Here are some very important detials about my psp:

- i believe that it is a factory version 2.5

- it is not a ta-082 motherboard

- i do not have libitery city stories game (unpatched)

if you need any more detials then please ask.

which 2.71 downgrader do i use to get to 1.5 because on www.psp-hacks.com there are like 5 different types!!!

http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/755 - this one is an installer. it copies all the files to ur memstick and then walks u thru the process of how to downgrade it on-screen on your pc.

http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/829 - this one you copy all the files to your memstick and it comes with text-based instructions. this one is also ran a different way. If you have ever read the bit about a homebrew enabled 2.71 (HEN-C), this one is ran with the use of that (included).

hi,

what do u mean GAME folder the only folders that i have are

psp
/ \
SAVEDATA SYSTEM
/ \
(my game saves) BROWSER



the only game that i have is SSX ON TOUR

do you mean make a new folder call GAME and then save it in there!!!

listen format memory card through the psp. and then connect to pc. youll see two folders....PSP and MP_ROOT.

inside PSP there will be a GAME folder.

inside GAME maually make a folder called UPDATE (it has to be in capitals!!)

not simply place your update eboots (so in your case you want the 2.71 eboot)inside the update folder.

now dissconet from the pc and navigate to your game menue on your psp.

you will see the 2.71 update. simply "X" it and follow on screen instructions and you should have 2.71 in a matter of minutes.

NOTE: you should have the AC adpater in at ALL times. this is crutial beciuase if it is not thre you can brick, and make sur eu dnt unplug it while its updating.

now i have got a 2GB mem card for my psp but now:

just install this: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/673 (run the installer and it will put everything on your MS)

now your game smust be ISO or CSO. they go in the ISO fodler which will be made after u install devhook.

now if i were to upgrade my memory card to a bigger one say 4 gig then would i just copy annd paste the psp files from my 2 gig mem card to the new 4 gig one. or is there a total different process.
