nope.
hence brick (as worthless as a brick)
but u could upgrade to 2.71 and use the easy downgrader for that.
but just follow all instructions w/ any downgrader to a T and only get from reputable places like psp-hacks.com

You can only bring a bricked psp back if you already have custom firmware or have a modchip installed, or you just replace the mobo, which in order to get one you would have to check ebay or something.

actually the 2.6 and 2.71 downgrader run the same risk. the 2.71 downgrader is a port of the 2.6 downgrader. plus with the 2.6 downgrader u have to have an un-patched version of GTA for it to work properly.

just upgrade to 2.71 and use the easy 2.71 downgrader. it doesnt run any more risk of the 2.6 downgrader since the 2.71 is a port from it. but if you insist on using the 2.6 with the unpatched version of GTA they are quite hard to find brand new, so you can get one used. There is a thread on how to distinguish them thats stickied. its entited the motherboard compatability guide.
EDIT:
I forgot to say the 2.6 downgrader uses unpatched GTA is because there is a save game exploit which allows u to run eloader. The downgrader works thru the use of the eloader.

first of do u have an unpatched GTA? u can tell if its "unpatched" by putting it in and if it says "upgrade to 2.0" then its unpachted. if it says anything else your screwed!

you're most welcome. considering he is at 2.8 there is no downgrader. there is the modchip method and then there is a motherboard swap. both are fairly expensive.
