How to reset the PSP ?

Hi all.
Can someone tell me how to reset the PSP should a game hang up ?...Sometimes I literally unplug the battery off. I think I seen somewhere that if I press certain buttons together with the power on switch it will reset ?.....can someone confirm please >...Thanks

Well you cant try holding the power switch up for 10seconds if that doesn't work just take the battery out.
