hi guys im really frustrated here and i dont know what to do, im sorry if this post doesnt belong here...heres the question i had always run DVD Decrypter with 2 dvd drives: liteon shw 160p6s and liteon sohw 1633s and never had a problem before...but now i have a new pc and installed those burners on it and they are recognized by windows xp i use them to play and everything is fine for some reason the autorun doesnt start the icons on the drives on my computer dont change everytime i change the disc and they only read data and games if i want to open a dvd movie with shrink it doesnt recognize a drive with dvd identifier it works fine...now when i start DVD Decrypter also i get this problem:

DeviceIoControl(IOCTL_STORAGE_MCN_CONTROL)Failed!
Device:[0:1:0]Lite-On DVDRW SHW-160P6S PS08 (F:)(ATA)
Unable To Enable Media Change Notification.
Reason:The Parameter Is Incorrect.

and the same thing if i choose the other dvd burner

please help me i dont know what to do

by the way im running an amd 4800+ x2 skt 939 proccesor
asus a8r32-mvp deluxe motherboard, ati x800xl pci-e and
500 gigs hdd sata2 7200 rpm 16mb buffer and 1.5 gigs of ram

Open my computer, right click and look at properties, is it on NTFS or FAT32 system. If the latter, you will need to convert your drive to NTFS.

Should have guessed it wouldn't be that easy.

You say you've got a new PC and installed the drives into that computer. Right click on My Computer > Device manager, scroll down to DVD/CDRom drivesand expand the + sign, this will show your new devices.

Right click on one of them and click properties, this will show the device and probably say "this device is working properly. Also further down it says device usage. Make sure it says - use this device (enable)

If all seems to be OK click on the troubleshoot box, which will take you through a series of options. I really can't think of anything else. You could try and get this thread moved to PC Hardware dvd drives, and see if anyone else drops in, with more experience than me.
