I have a belkin F5D7633-4 router and am running windows xp. I have followed various guides on the internet to forward the ports and until I switch my pc off i get green smileys. then when I switch back on again the turn red and yellow.

Can anyone give me a step by step guide for this router as I am not too good with things like this. Before I had a router I had green smileys all the time.

Please help because its driving me mad.

Thanks very much

Maybe when you turn your router off it resets the ports and closes them?

Your local IP changed, or the rule you've set in your firewall expires upon reboot.

Recheck your local IP versus the one you're forwarding to in the router.

Recheck your firewall to make sure you're still allowing the client application.

The firewall allows Azureus. How do I check the local IP address?

Also, would it have anything to do with the WEP security on the router?
